About this piece: "Seventh Element"

This lovely handcrafted, one of a kind solid sterling silver ring is set with an exquisite, expertly cut and polished Melody Stone cabochon (also called "Super Seven" stone and "Cacoxenite". Incredibly rare quality and color in this stone. Even sprinkling of all of the minerals and colors complements the clear facets of this rosecut stone. Note that the way this stone is set, the top is faceted and tall (convex), rather than flat.

I took photos outdoors in natural light as well as in studio lighting to show how it appears in both.

The ring is a size 8. The ringtop itself, including the stone, is approximately 1" or 24.5mm square.

The silver has been oxidized (blackened) to bring out the beauty of the design.

Our logo and hallmark also whimsically appear on the reverse of the ring. This is a breathtaking ring that will be treasured by its owner.

All of my jewelry is handmade in the form of centuries old tools - torch, hammers, anvils and saws. As such, you may see the rustic marks of forging. This never interferes with the structural integrity of the piece, and is considered to add to the beauty of something labored over - not cast from a machine or mass factory.

Mineral Inclusion: As the quartz grows, other minerals present in the surrounding geological environment become trapped or grow alongside it, creating the distinctive blend.

I'm Bonnie Swensrud, and my family and I proudly design, forge, and finish every item you see in this shop. I've been a silversmith for 25 years, and this business is the heart of our family.
